note: although this thread is more or less directed to RPG enthusiasts, anyone is free to comment and decide if this find is legit or not.

i was recently reading the "classic GI" section of my newest Game Informer when i found something you guys might find interesting. that particular issue was about Final Fantasy IV and its backstory.

while reading under the heading "see you later...", i noticed one of the bosses in the game is the three magus sisters. coincidentally, i just finished Chrono Trigger, where one of the villains (and later possible ally) is named Magus as well.

i was too lazy to look up which game came out first (lol), but what i think is that either Magus influenced the magus sisters or vice versa. both games are made by Square Enix, and i have further proof. allow me to quote the article:

"...noteworth bosses that reappear as allies in later entires. Zeromus (note: final boss in FF IV) is an Esper in Final Fantasy XII who will fight by your side when summoned. similarly, the Magus Sisters...are available as secret Aeons in Final Fantasy X."

with this evidence in hand, i find that my discovery might be wholly true with the above evidence that Square Enix is known to resurrect characters in later entries. but thats just me...

what do you guys think? :confused1:

oh noes, evil wizard! <=0

Yea, they have always done this, even in FF Dissidia.
I don't really care for SE that much anymore unless they remake old games.
FFVII in particular.

Other than that, FFXII was quite boring and not very fun to play.
