Mario 3 vs Present games

ya know.. no matter how long i have been a gamer, and how much i love modern games, i always eventually hook up the old NES and play some oldschool Mario 3 or if im feeling bored, ill play Paperboy! lol, but nothing can ever compare to being a kid and with a digipad-2 button controller (except for the start and select buttons) and going at it soaring through the air with a racoons tail, or eating a mushroom and getting bigger! The best part was throwing fireballs at the enemys. I will never forget the days that i used to sit down with my mom and play Mario 3! We would spend hours trying to beat it! i was abut 5 years old, and the thing i remember most was my mom being the way she is, when one of the wild card things popped up and u had to match the one card that oyu flipped over with another card, she would write the placements down on a notebook. we had an entire notebook filled with paterns of where the different cards were locates. lol, ik im lame, but again i was like 5 years old!
