Refused Connection?

Well I went to play some BF2 special forces this morning, come to find out that when I try to log on to my name, it says "Server Refused Connection"

I closed BF2 and checked my internet connection to see it was fine. I know my firewall isn't blocking BF2 because I have never gotten this error before.

I restarted my computer, because that usually fixes problems with Steam, but it didn't help at all.

Anyone else know what I can do or has anyone else encountered similar problems?

I checked online and I guess this has happened to many people before, any idea on how to ensure it doesnt happen again?

I was getting that error when I was trying to process mynew registration and it never took. I had to remember my old account and log in with it, I think newusers have trouble making accounts. You were just logging in, not making an account?

i accually got that problem and it was fixed like 3 days later
