Who plays BF2

Ok, well to be honest, sometimes when I am doing bad in CSS I want to do anything but play CSS, so I looked into BF2

Come to find out, that there are about 5 different versions of it, so I'm curious what version do you guys run? Theres just Battlefield 2, BF 2142, BF 2142 nothern or something...which one do you guys play on?

I ran a system test and I can run BF2, so if it is just regular BF2 and not BF23901348963y231 northern southeastern task force special or something, then I may join you

i just play plain BF2... also i got the delux so i have special forces but not as many people play that so i play regular. but its fun game to play with friends.

I played CAL and TWL for ]BoS[ 5v5. I used to play a ton, and got really good in the past. I took about 8 months off as of now, but I still scrim every once in a while with my team. I used to be ranked like 25th in SPM in global rankings, but I have not played in a long time. It is quite fun, but I am awaiting ET:QW when I will bust out the ownage.

Well I got BF2 today, and so far I love it. Still a little confusing, but it's perfect for when I am having a bad CSS day.

Im looking for some servers to play (didnt spawnpoint have one?) And also where to check on my rank and all that good stuff.

If you can leave me some cool IPs then that would be great. Let me know when everyone is playing and I'll try not to noob up the place too bad

I tried to connect to the Moongamers one, but it said I have an older version than that one. Any idea what that means?

I have BF2 deluxe edition, which came with special ops. Tried to run it in BF2, and as far as I know there isn't a new version. If so, where do I get this?

download the top patch, 1.41 full, it's gonna take awhile so don't plan on doing anything for a while before you start downloading.

Well I noticed it was going to take approximately 3 hours to fully download, so I am going to do this tommorrow while I am at class.

When it is finished, do I need to put the patch in any certain place in my BF2 folder? or will it automatically recognize the patch while BF2 loads?
