Favourite Weapon? (Yes I'm Canadian)

I've noticed that there hasn't exactly been a thread about people's preferred weapons yet.

And by weapons I don't necessarily mean unlocks; any weapons are fine.

When I'm MEC, 80% of the time I find myself using the AK-101. It's probably because I normally play IO servers, because the AK-101 is an exceptional close range weapon and rather good medium to long range weapon. Other than the AK, I also use the RPK-74 (which is in general, better than the PKM in my opinion) and for close to medium range engagements, the SVD is a suitable weapon.

When I'm USMC, I use the M16A2 and the M249 SAW a lot. The M16 is a decent close range weapon because of its high rate of fire, and is surprisingly accurate and long range when using the semi-automatic fire mode. Due to its recoil, it does have problems at medium range hitting proning targets, but with enough practise, you can learn how to use the recoil to your advantage, The M249 SAW is probably one of the best performing weapons at close range, essentially because of its high rate of fire, long overheat time, and 200 round-clip. It also performs rather well at medium range (if you use 3 to 4 shot bursts), but has virtually no capabilities at longe range. The default sniper rifle for USMC, the M24, is also a decent weapon, pretty much identical to the L96A1.

I don't usually use unlocks, but my favorite unlocks include the F2000, the DAO-12, and the L96A1. I have no idea why I like the F2000; the rifles really has nothing out of the ordinary (above-average damage, okay accuracy, okay range), but does have a nice grenade launcher. I love to play anti-tank, and the DAO-12 (with 12 rounds), honestly dominates at close range. As for the L96A1, it is ONLY the most accurate sniper rifle (and the best due to its thin crosshairs) in the game.

Im not going to lie I love any of the Sniper Rifles EXCEPT for the SVD... that is just a garbage gun... but maybe i just didnt practice enough with it... Oh well

My Fav guns are any AK's the 1st Med unlock, the grenade launchers M95 or L96A1 are good too.... There are too many guns to just pick 1 fav. the only Burts Fire mode on the M16 is disappointing though for close range.

Not really sure of that , but I will say the AK, I like it because of his damage

and that the bullets are habitually going where I want them to ( head ). The

only thing I hate, is the fact that is you fire, you better have shot the head

( 1 hit kill ), because all of the cts (almost) will have heard you.

I like the AK. Its strong and powerful but less recoil only good upclose.

I like the UMP, because i'm old, and it is not too heavy for me to carry around.

I don't play BF2 unless I'm in the mood to snipe, and I never snipe in any other FPS I play. So I'm gonna go with the .50 Cal Barret - the M95. Every time I connect, I grab the M95, and begin my walk to the enemy airstrip, taking up location at the far end of the runway, and proceed to kill the jet and chopper fans until the game is over.

wrong game fellas, i like the special ops m4, l96a1(anti sniper's best friend),pkm,p90,scar-L,and saw.i use l96a1 the most when there is lots of snipers and spec ops m4 cuz i am a demo man(squad named demo crew).

Love the H&K G36C and FN SCAR-L, I don't think I even use the C4 most of the time I just love the rifles.

Same with USMC's Engineer. I use the M11-87 pump shotgun but rarely use the mines. Great gun for close battles. Racked up a lot of kills with it.
