hmmm well take a stock 8 year old dell with 20g of hard drive space, 400g of exter hard drive space(css runs faster off the exter). Then put windows xp on it(that takes up 15g of the 20g hard drive). The acient ram in this rig runs as fast as a car without wheels.

Only nice part is a very nice samsung monitor, 26in widscreen ultra sharp.

Don't worry though I am getting a new computer soon!!!

I need help though. Should i get a dell xps 410, link ---->

The Dell Online Store: Build Your System

dang it the link to dell didn't work either well lol if i was just getting the basic version or either one which one would you recommend?

OR just the basic version aleinware area-51, with the exception of the $50 upgrade to 2g of ram. The aleinware web page doesn't give a good link to show how i customized it. It cost a little over 1,500 though.

I'm good with computers just not buying them lmfao

Got a 410 for my kid last Christmas... he's a avid gamer and loves it. If you decide on DELL you might also want to check the "DELL Outlet" link. Much cheaper than buying new, they normally have a good selection to choose from, but unlike buying new you have to select from an available list and ya have to take the hardware that comes with it. Should also note here that the refurbished 410 I bought was just like new... even had that NEW PC smell.

No, Alienware is not Dell. When Dell bought Alienware they did so as a parent company, they did not merge the two companies. What this means is that Alienware still functions as an independent company, but gains access to Dell's supply and distribution channels allowing them to lower costs and increase their supply. Dell gains a portion of the Alienware revenue and through them access to the high-end gamer market, but does not take part in the operation of Alienware.

If I had a cam to take pics with and showed you guys my rig, those of you who i have done better than in css would fall to your knees and cry!!!! Tell ya what I'll barrow a friends cam and take some pictures. All you'll see is a dust storm, and a ton of jaws dropped(as in ""That thing even runs!?!?"").
