I need help!

Hello

i recently just upgraded my computer, and for some reason it does it randomly. While im playing Counter Strike source it just freezes with looping sounds. ive tried fully restoring,updating drivers, got pretty much everything new so it didnt need to be cleaned.

computer specs:

G-card : Leadtek PX9600GT Extreme GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported

Mobo : ASUS M2R32-MVP AM2 AMD 580X CrossFire ATX AMD Motherboard

Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ Brisbane 2.8GHz Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core black edition Processor

also got a new PS 450 watt

Sounds card : Diamon Xtreme Sounds 5.1

ive been looking for a couple days on how to fix this i have no idea,

so any kind of help would be great

What have you upgraded ? And what RAM do you have on your computer ? I used to have freezing/crashing problems with one memory module that wasn't working properly. I tried some Ram checking software (can't remember the name), as errors happened a few minutes after the test begin I know where my problems where coming from.

Sorry pal but I think the reason it may have taken so long is because you've posted this in the wrong place you should have gone here Ask a Tech - SpawnPoint

I had a similar problem before with the freezing of CSS ingame with the looping sound. I found out it was a problem with the Firewall i was using.

Could u possibly tells us what firewall u have?? Ive used alot over the years and i have used quite a few that mess with MP games even tho the ports are forwarded etc.

Maybe un-install your current firewall and go back to the windows default firewall, see if that is your problem.
