Right,
My tale of woe with Virgin.net just gets better and better [:@] According to BT (and despite the Bulls**t that Virgin.net have been telling me) my regrade of my broadband to a fixed and stable network isn't going to happen until Monday 29th January That's going to have been 11 days to fix a fcuk up caused by someone other than me  FFS! That's another weekend without playing Counter Strike. Yes I can at least get on to the forums and Ventrillo etc but latency on UK servers is over 240 when its normally 30 - 40! I'm going to write to Virgin.net and really give them an ear bashing but if i don't get any decent answer i'm going to have to change my Internet Service Provider. Does anyone have any "good" reports on their ISP or are they all as bad as each other? The problem only seems to occur to ADSL MAX customers as the network from the digital exchange hereis overloaded and therefore CRAP!. Rob

well i am with BT, got the top package and its perfect, got the ping spike not long ago but its gone and all fine, never had any problems with them but i do give them a batering with teh bandwidth[:-]
but overall bt have been very good and ive had no problems at my end, my gradnparents are with them as well, no problems there, even the wireless router is excellent  J |

Virgin.net, is that associated with the Virgin brand i.e. Richard Branson? If it is, interesting on his business diversity.
