at what point during the installation does the pc shut down ... some hardware you need to install the software first than reboot and plug in the hardware if its new hardware it should tell you with the install instructions or head over to the website from the manufacturer ... good luck man its a winders world out there lol

Correct me if i am wrong on this one...

I've been told there are 2 reasons why you comp could have a sudden reboot...
1) your harddrive is containing errors, which cause windows to reboot (this happened with me a lot)
2) there might be a possibilty that your cooling fan, or powersupply is not working properly...

But i hope you get it fixed... a comp does not reboot unless it warns you about it, and in 99% of the cases, i will have to click and accept a reboot...

Good luck

Ouch, yup, that can be nasty sometimes... try and get yourself used to cleaning your comp once in a while... say every 3 months or something... that should keep it up and running smooth!!!

And your welcome, we are here to help eachother....
