Dust

Heya,

Everytime I go into the Dust map I get quite laggy but I'm fine on all other maps just wondered why that was whether Dust needs a better PC then Dust2 etc. to run or what but its been annoying me for a few days now because I used to love rushing under as a T on that map hehe

If you want to know what my PC is (Hardware) then give me a shout and I'll post it - But you'll have to tell me how to find out lol, I'm not very good at all with PC's. I even buy Graphics cards that are twice the size of my PC and hope they will fit

well it's not unusual at all to get different frame rates on different maps. type "dxdiag" in the run box in the start menu. Then, go to the display tab and tell us your device name. Also, the cpu under the first tab and memory would be nice also.

The problem is Definitively the graphic card, update to at least a 8600 GT and you'll have better fps.

Do you have dynamic lighting turned on? If you do, dust will kill your pc!!

2gb of ram is plenty. But yes, as stated earlier, the 6100 isn't very good. A new graphics card would certianly help, but if it's still playable I wouldn't worry about it.

Cool well I will look into some new Graphics Cards, thanks alot.

Now another question hehe my PC only takes PCI-E (I think thats right, something express) cards soo what would you recommend - I only ever play CS;S and maybe TF2 sometimes so I don't need anything thats imba hehe.

Reg the RAM I just bought two 1gig cards not so long ago *cry*, I'll see what I can find - Whats the next size up? two 2gig cards?

Beel... You really don't need ram. Get a good graphics card, and if you're still experiencing issue (which you most likely won't be) then you can think about upgrading your ram.
