How to read .dem?? (demo)

=( heres a dumb question of being an admin for 5 months for now ( me ). I wonder how to read or watch the demos which made by HL2.exe?

I had try to double click on the .dem and the HL2.exe end up crashed [&:], please help

go into the console while you arent in a server, and type "playdemo <demoname>".

and you will always get that same result. put any .dems in your cstrike folder then do what the coop said.

so that means not once have you reviewed a demo of a person you spectated and demo'd?

The demoui command brings up a menu for stoping, playing, and choosing a specific frame of a demo to just the a key point in the demo.

Other methods to spectate hackers are sv_cheats 1 and mat_wireframe 1 to see through walls as the hacker would. This info is in a bunch of other posts...
