pc crashes!?

got a problem ,

i can play only 1 server.. if i go to an other 1 and play it for 2 min my pc crashes and my pc restarts all over...does anyone know what the problem is??:S

TBH that could be anything, we need more detail. Is it a BSOD? How long are you on the first server for? PC spec?

no... if it works in one server it probably has something to do with resources, or stress of the comp. What server is it, and is it only on one map?

It's been 15 minutes so I couldn't edit my last post. Sorry for double posting.
Go to properties of CS:S in steam and go to local files. Then verify the game cache integrity.

where can i find properties?,

i can play the uk assault server for hours but if i go to an other server ( for example common ground dust2 ) i can play there dor about 2min and then my pc just crashes without a warning..

Go to Steam (right click) -> Games->click on css and right click with mouse and properties. -> Local Files and there you go.

found the problem
STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078) ... ( videocard problems)
i have updated windows and hopefully it will work now thanks for all the help and i wiil let you guys know if it works, bye all

if this just started happening out of the blue then it could be an auto update to windows, drivers or counterstrike that has caused the issue. you could try removing and reinstalling the most up-to-date video drivers for your card, they might have been corrupted, also using system restore to take it back to before it started happening might solve.

yeah JK gave some good advice there. If it's a gfx error the graphics card drivers would be the best place to start.

thanks guys, it still does it sometimes, so i will start by re-updating the video drivers! thanks for your help if i cant find it i will let you know !!

how can i restore the system to back before the problem started?? because it is still a problem, everytime i come on a server, i can play for 5 min and then my pc crashes, it still gives the same problem... i am getting kind of annoyed now hope that some one can help me

If you have system restore running

All programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore

Look through the calendar and find a restore point before you started getting the problem. Select it and click restore (or whatever the button says) windows will try and restore to the state the system was in at the time the restore point was created, you will lose certain changes made since that time, cant remember all what but I am pretty sure you can undo the system restore if you need anything back.

Some people hate system restore, some swear it is the solution to all mankinds problems (except of course the dilema of understanding women), I am somewhat in the middle, I have found it useful in the past especially when remotely supporting end users but wouldnt use it on my own machine, but then I know exactly what I do to my system and hence what is likely to be the source of any issues I have. (Like Kaspersky making my system hang for a few minutes almost every boot - its a conspiracy by those pesky russians)

Anyway must dash loads to do - so Ill probably just log on and play css till The Boss (also know as my girlfiend) gets in.
