mad choke...help!

I been getting mad choke on some servers and now even in servers like 174.5 I am getting choke in the 50's and 60's....see screenshot. Also my fps dropped down in to the 50's during this ss as well.....rates are set at 20,000, 67, 67

wow that is insane and your rates are fine. try unplugging your modem and router for 5 mins from the wall.

Already went throught the whole resetting and unplugging modem protocol. I called the cable company and told them to fix their bandwidth issues....they said they would check into it but I am not holding my breath.

huh well it is probably some issue at the cable company if ya did the whole unplug hardware thing, try go thru with all the anti spyware you find as well as run an anti virus and defragment your computer.

It looked like server problems to me.

It's supposed to be a 66tick server but you were getting 27.3/s IN on that screenshot.

It very much looks like a case of server lag to me.

Wow I thought I was had a lot of choke when I had 8 :O.


Just a little offtopic question : why when it's a 66 tic servers people put there rates at 67 67 and when it's a 100 tic servers at 101 101 ??

Because you usually don't get the exact number of tic in/out. If you notice, on a lot of 66 tic servers, you're actually getting like 67.1 in and out.

Same goes for 100 tic servers.

X - I've been having a consistent 5 to 7 choke on 174.5 for the longest time, and every round's start the tic drops to 20, sometimes even lower, then as some people die, it slowly climbs back up towards 66 tic in.

I've noticed more than average choke on the evo server lately, probably has nothing to do with your issue, but I think the server needs a reset or something.
