And younger admins, and applicants, I'm saying this for your sake. If you want to be admin to help remove stress... You're not signing up for the the right reasons, you help others with stress... By making everyone's stress your stress. For not only must you stop gaming when you suspect someone. but you have to record the proper demos and send them in. Not so bad. You must take the good news with the bad [mostly bad if you're getting news as an admin ]. you gotta be called on even when you dont feel like stoping the rampage you're having on fragfest2. You must act in a way that upholds the rules at all times, for you are now the example. Warn people about porn sprays. Watch language. Keep the proper camping rules enforced. Watch for glitching. Make sure no one is bypassing the weapon restrictions (only on certain servers). And somehow keep at it, because in about a half an hour or less, someone is going to have a problem with someone else, add you to their friends list, and then fifteen people will let you know that a spinbot is running rampant across dust2... But please. Hang in there !

We need more admins in some servers because not all admins play alot and there is usually a hacker, Thats why i wanna be admin, because i play alot in SPAWNPOINT servers and i always see people with inapropriate names and swearing when theres no admin. And once in a awhile i see hackers also when theres no admins.

Why don't you be active here, and on the server you like, then apply for admin on it?

i feel like a retart asking but how do view my steam id i tried to find it but the only thing i can see is the name i have on it it doesnt have STEAM_0:1:12345678 all mine has is albanian92 someone help i relly want to become admin

Start CSS. Open the console by depressing the tilde key i.e. ~, located below your Escape key. Type status and that will provide your player name and your steam ID. Good luck!

The Admin Position I want to get into is the PHXX Warcraft 3 server.
But im to young to get into PHXX (Starts Crying Softly) and i guess thats
the only way to get admin. ='[

Clan sponsored servers (PHXX, DA, UEA, REVERSE etc etc) are limited to clan members and staff only for admin.

They're quite different to all the other Spawnpoint servers in their application process

I realize that you posted this awhile ago, but I'll use it as an example.

You dont have to be an admin to do the same things that an admin does. If someone is swearing or has an innapropriate name, then tell that person that it is against the rules. Its a good idea to have an admin on your steam friends list so you can call him in whenever there is a hacker, however you can still get a demo of the player*. You can not punish them for repeated acts but you can still do your part to help clean up the server before an admin is neccesary.

im farely new and applying for admin for a fav server of mine, i really like to help peeps in tough situations, i have gotten free admin on a very popular server. Good advice it really is going to help me. ps: i really like spam

I have a question about becoming an admin. When you are a Spawnpoint admin, do you gain admin rights over all Spawnpoint servers, or just the one you applied for? I wish to apply to be an admin on the Officefest 24/7 server soon, but not yet. This confused me because i read on a previous post somewhere that once you gain admin status, you are admin on all SP servers. Whereas, i only wish to be an admin on one server, my regular server. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks in advance.

Hi Undisciplined. The answer to your question: You will only have admin rights on the server that you have applied to and have been accepted for. Server Support Staff (SSS) have what I like to call "Universal Admin" ~ admin on ALL Spawnpoint Servers.
