The la servers are back up after a hardware failure.

Currently all servers but the 1.6 are up expect all to be fully up with in the next few days.

Two questions, has there been any information on a fix for the ragdoll time? Still miss the old way where the bodies flew around a bit. And I dont know what this would result from, but when you try and switch to spec without using the admin menu, (by uing the team switch menu, clicking a different charachter and while dead, clicking the "spectator tab") the option to spectate no longer shows up. It just kills you and instantly respawns you. Is there any way to easily just enable "spectator" as an option in the menu?

I've never been able to spec in source without typing kill in console, closing console, then hitting M then 6 real fast. As far as the ragdoll goes, i've noticed on other servers (non-sp) that they are missing it too.

OTOH, i played a while in CH today and i'll have to say it was perfect. No lag, no freezes, just perfect. I honestly think it's kind of cool that players vanish when killed! Hats off to the people who brought the servers back up. I've played on several different servers lately and I can honestly say i'm proud to be a SP member. The quality of these servers, the staff, and the vast majority of the players just can't be beat elsewhere.

There was never an option to spectate in Deathmatch. The way i usually do it is the command spectate in console. Ragdoll was actually an sdk change that broke it. They changed how one of the classes used worked. It has been fixed but the extension needs to be recompiled for cssdm. Ill try to get a build triggered.

Also they all run intel :P

It was hard drive failure. Which kept partial backups only (the files for mods)

Ragdolls should be fixed. 1.6 server are also back up. So LA is all up now.
