I am completely with Maxforce. I have been with my partner for 17 years, and in all honesty, I grew out of going to bars etc very quickly indeed. I now have 4 children, oldest 16 and the youngest born only a few days ago, and when she is old enough, she will be gaming also.
My misses also thinks I game to much, she also thinks I smoke and drink too much, but hey, that's women for you, what I say is, you know where I am, you know what I am doing, and I'm not in any risk doing it. I'm not spending the families money on it either.
The funny thing is, I flew RC helicopters for a few years, and that took up more time! Even when I wasn't flying I'd be buying some new bling alloy parts, reading stuff going on forums etc etc, but I sold all my RC gear to pay for my gaming rig.
Have I got an addictive personality, I think so, but I know where my priorities are and family comes first, but i will always have time to game, and I'll be doing it as long as I am able, and because I'm a stubborn old git, the more people say I shouldn't or I am too old.....the more I'll do it
