Battlefield 2 has reached the level of dominance it’s predecessor was able to take but from a month to month basis is not growing much larger. Clearly the specific niche of the FPS genre it falls into is a bit more limited then Half-Life and Half-Life 2.

This screenshot was taken at 5:20AM my local time. If the upload thing diddn't work, there are 129,585 users playing StarCraft BroodWar on the east.battle.net server. I have seen it as high as 400,000 users, though it has not been that high in a couple years.
