yes, we definitely need to stay in Iraq until the government is stable and less corrupted, and the country can police itself. the thing is, that goal will not be reached for quite some time. because of the surrounding nations (especially Iran), and the terrorist influence within the country, the government is having a difficult time gaining power. i believe we need to stay longer to help Iraq stabilize itself, and possibly longer, to insure the safety of the newly rebuilt nation. we've dug ourselves quite a hole, but we can't just jump out. we need to stay with Iraq until it's all settled down.
