Up to this year, I played baseball all my life. Excluding first base, I played every position and made my fair share of all-star teams. When I got into highschool, everything got to be different. Instead of just letting us have fun, they were making someone bunt every few at bats.

Not to say I was an outstanding batter, but I recall one game when my coach had me try to bunt for a base hit twice...Failed both times.

I had found myself tobe the startingsecond basemen, and there were two other guys gunning for that position. They werent very good defensively, and both had bad arms, but they got to rotate the position and my coach stuck me in the outfield cause he knew that those two kids wouldn't be able to throw it to the plate from out there, and I could. That really sucked, cause those kids decided to rub it in my face. I was tempted to tell them that the only reason they got that spot is because they can't throw for crap...but oh well.

The only advice I can give you is to just do your best at practice and at the games. Hopefully your coach will notice and give you the credit you deserve.

All this probably didn't help, but I felt like complaining
