RE: Hacker is back...
Hi Neo,
Just to be on the safe side I'd say run a few security programs to sweep your system, and include at least one program dedicated to dealing with root kits.
F-secure's Blacklight is great, and it's free until at least October 2007. you can get it at [link=http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/]http://www.f-secure.com/blacklight/ [/link]
If you don't have anti-virus installed there are a couple of really good free anti-virus programs out, including Avast! and AGV.

you should also have at least one or two anti-spyware programs. the two free ones I have on all my Windows machines are SpyBot Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware, and the paid one I'm running is Spy Sweeper.

finally, a good firewall program will help lock down your computer and prevent unauthroized access. ZoneAlarm is easy to use and does a great job.

Just remember that while you can use multiple anti-spyware programs together, and can mix and match anti-spyware anti-virus and firewall programs, never try to run more than one firewall at a time, and never try to run more than one anti-virus at a time.
