I have noticed that I can "see through" the hostie doors on assault using my radar. I experimented a bit with this, and it only works when your opponents move inside the hostie room while you are right near the doors. If they are still and quiet, they don't appear on my radar. I think this may be an artifact of the game design. If you look closely, the double doors that close the hostie room have a small gap where they meet in the center. I think this tiny gap allows you to peek as it were. Although the gap is too small to truly see through, if a line of sight exists, this can trigger the radar to display the terrorist you "saw" through the gap.
