Default RE: What program is good for recording your voice on some beats

oh goodness, ok here are lists or programs i use/ have used to record and make beats
fruity loops (terrible, hated it dont waste ur time with it)
pro tools (one of the best i think, thats what me and my band uses to record most of the time)
cubase le (just got a copy the other day still playing around withit, great so far. easy to learn for the most part)
digital performer (it was ok, better than fruity loops)
these are all the ones ive actully used, there areALOT of them out there though, these cost a pretty penny to get tho. im not sure if ur looking for something free cause ur bored or what, but if u want to spend money on this, pro tools is the best way to go i think. to get a quality recording of your voice your gonna need a real mic. if u try using one off ur headset it'll sound horrible for a dozen different reasons. the only way this can be achieved tho is if u have a great sound card with preamps, a interface or a very ghetto rigged p.a. sum duct tape, a case of beer and alot of wires (long story but it worked out halfway decent XD ) so are u trying to record a rap type thing with these beats our what? and hey if u wanna fork out sum cash u could always come out here and ill put u in my studio and u can get it all done by us "pros" =P
