There do seem to be a lot of hackers about at the moment and they do love Spawnpoint servers, but thats because the servers are great
. These things tend to go through phases so it should calm down in a bit.
I don't like voteban/votekick, it tends to get misused. Also even fewer players would bother to record demos and submit them if you could just votekick, meaning the hacker could be hanging around bothering the servers for much longer before getting banned. Demo submissions and a centralised ban list is the best long term solution to the hacker problem.
How to get more people to submit demos is something we could do with discussing. I can't ban them all myself, although I'm trying, so we need the regular players to take some time to record demos and help keep the servers hacker free.
