Default Guidelines for posting in the forums

Here are the posting guidelines that we would like you to follow. Some forums are for enjoyment....some are for settlling issues, some for suggestions and others for help and information. There are some things we want you to do as users....

1. If you have an issue, please post responsibly. This means no swearing or "flaming people up" when you have an issue. Negative posts always seem to end up as one long arguement. This doesn't help the poster or the rest of our community who come to these forums looking for answers or similarly answered questions. If you "let it rip", you will notice the responses are more about your attitude then your problem.....how does that help anyone?

2. Please go easy with the quoting. There is no need for 6 paragraphs of quotes in your post. We don't want to discourage it, but use it responsibly.

3.If someone has a problem, especially with an admin or another player.....STAY OUT OF IT. Examples are going to be made, so don't poke your nose into someone else's problems unless you want to volunteer to be that example. Problems get solved best if they are handled quickly and by staff. Name calling and throwing your 2cents in usually will make our job harder.

4. Don't "hijack" threads for your own use. Start new ones. What you are posting in threads should be along the lines with what the thread starter intended....

5. If you aren't staff, don't act like you are. We do have staff to take care of issues and they will be able to do it more efficiently if they are not running around "putting out fires" started by others....

6. Enjoy yourselves! We are here because we like to play a game that is FUN! Sometimes I think that is forgotten. You have a great tool (these forums) to increase your fun on the servers...use it well and you will have even more fun.

7. Use descriptive titles when you start a new thread. We already have dozens and dozens that are titled "Banned" "I was banned" "banned for no reason" etc. We do try and stay on top of things, but it wastes time if we have to keep asking the same questions about your information.

These forums are provided to enrich the vibrant SpawnPoint community that we all are involved in. Following these simple rules will make your experience better along with everyone else's that read your posts. This will also decrease our response time to the really important issues like getting problems resolved, answering questions, adding maps to servers, reviewing requests for things that will make gaming better.....see where I am going with this? If we don't have to deal so much with the "down side", we will have more time to work on the "up side" and play ourselves.......and you guys know you want to pwn me
