To change your settings click the forums tab, you will see under your main tabs a sub-tabs with the following:
User CP, FAQ, Members List, Calendar, New Posts, Search, Quick Links and Log Out
The User CP is your User Control Panel, that's where you can edit everything related to your site account, a list should be available on the left side, the rest is self explanatory.
