Let it Ride! In a huge, open world with unlimited options
A few days ago Bethesda dropped the ball and released a corrupt patch for Fallout: New Vegas. It was the first time I’ve seen Xbox 360 users advised not to download a patch. Here you can find the story and Bethesda’s official statement.
Bethesda followed up this issue with an exciting announcement for players looking to roam the post-apocalyptic wasteland further. In the next coming months Bethesda will be releasing three new downloadable content packs for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows-based PC’s.
The first of which titled “Honest Hearts” is to be released May 17th for Xbox 360 and PC, and May 18th for Playstation 3. This expansion is set to take place in the wilderness of Utah’s Zion National Park. I really like the idea of this one. Sometimes barren wastelands can be kind of drab. We all understand and love the post-apocalyptic setting, but there’s always going to be a little green somewhere, and it’s nice to know Fallout: New Vegas will have some visual incentive behind these releases.
The two other content packs “Old World Blues” and “Lonesome Road” will be landing in June and July.
