SpawnPoint - Where Game Begins

Microsoft has announced that the highly anticipated Gears of War 2, exclusive to the Xbox 360, has sold over two million copies worldwide over it's launch weekend beginning on November 7.

Feeling in a stat releasing mood Microsoft also revealed that more than 1.5 million people logged into Gears of War 2 on Xbox Live. In total they racked up over 15 million hours of gameplay the equivalent of 10 hours per player, a new concurrent Live record. Impressively these players unlocked 19 million achievement points during the weekend launch period.
