IRFO - Iranian FIFA League to be held from 9th to 11th of August as a LAN party in two game nets in Iranian capital city of Tehran.
This will be the biggest FIFA eSport event in Iran after WCG Iran competitions. About 80 FIFA players have registered in the first day of registration and 500 players are expecting to be registered before the deadline.
The winner of IRFO League 07 will be awarded with 4,000,000 IR Tomans, a copy of UEFA Champions League 2006/2007 and 2 months of Internet access account.
IRFO League is the one and only eSport competition which has been supported by EA Sports in Iran. There are also some other sponsors like Pars Online Telecom, XFX Iran - Sazgar Argham and Fifatainment Ltd. to this league.
IRFO League Preseason took place last spring in Tehran and helped with the main league's ranking system. All 80 participated players in pre-season got their ranking level for this league.
