Totally addictive whimsical golf game that will convert anyone into a golf fanatic
Once installed and logged in your greeted by the home page, and first of all I headed to the shop to spend spend spend! Though I was limited as certain items can only be bought once a certain rank, better stuff requires a higher rank, and because this was my first time I could only pick a smaller variety of clothes, clubs and comets (golf balls) though overall there is a massive selection with new weekly deals and other various things that keep getting updated, so even in this game you have to keep up with the fashion trends…

Once suited and booted, looking pretty dapper, I headed out to the course, from a list of people who have created a game, there are various modes to select, including vs battle tournaments, and as you hit the tiny comet around the courses you notice the brilliant cute graphics that have been included, the courses are obviously mythical, and include snowy mountain peaks, to the desert sand dunes, or even if you want to play golf across a fleet of ships, there is a vast variety of courses to play.
The controls are very simple, space bar to set off the power gauge, and space again to indicate where you hit the ball, getting everything perfect – maximum power and perfect precision you initiate ‘Pangya!’ and this is most powerful precise shot you can do, which hurls the ball in a sparkling motion.
The game tries to be as simple as possible, and this may be an attraction for the majority, though people looking for a challenge may think its too simple, however they’re wrong, with usual tournaments, and ranking matches, the challenge never stops, though the interface is simple point and click, and you’re ready to go in minutes! There’s over 5 diverse courses to choose from, each with there own strengths and weaknesses, even keep a look out for any short cuts you can take! You may favour one, or them all, but each look stunning.

The game works on very low computer requirements, direct x 8.1 or higher, so no matter what your computer, if you’ve bought it in the last five years, its most likely already set up to be able to play Pangya!
This game is open to anyone, due to the element of seriousness gone, its open to any age, any gender, or any generation of person, with female characters, male characters, both with a massive selection of clothes and items, which can be personalized. You start your campaign as a Rookie, there are A – E types, E obviously being the lowest, as you play matches you gain experience points, and you slowly level up and over the course of your campaign you begin to reach new ranks, such as Senior, up all the way to Master, being different levels grants you access to better items, clothes or even functions, not to mention the higher standard of personal attributes that will aid you on your conquest to be the best.
The game follows the usual styles of online games, there is no true objective or goal, other than to have a fun time and progress your character to the highest pinnacle of its ability, and to get the best clothes, whatever target you have its usually a personal one that you aim towards.

One criticism that springs to mind is the music; at some times it can seem too similar to elevator music, kind of mono-toned, and then it can instantly change into music that does suit the surroundings, it's one of the only flaws about the game, the other being the 'points' system, there are 2 main types of currency, 'Pang' and 'Cookies' and when you play you gather 'Pang' this can be spent on certain objects only, and this left me confused, surely one main type of currency would work a lot better, as 'Cookies' are very hard to come by, it often results in the user having to buy them, with real money.
The good
Very simple to use, anyone can easily pick it up and play
Low system requirements needed
Graphics are brilliantly colourful
It’s totally addictive!
There are tutorials and a dedicated server for rookies, which offers a great place to start
Hundreds of things to buy from the shop, to personalize your character
Free to download and play!
The bad
The elevator style music doesn’t fit certain surroundings
Things cost a little bit too much, and earning points is difficult, it usually involves paying for them
Occasional login problems, often resulting in not responding or crashing
The ugly
From time to time, maybe it depends on connection speeds or either player, but there has been times where the game has slowed down, then uncontrollable sped up for no reason
I have also experienced some log-in issues, where no servers don't respond, and there isn't much help regarding this issue

Ntreev have done a good job of capturing a fine golf game that lets people play, and in my opinion a much more fun style of golf, I advise anyone to get this game, it will soon draw you in and suck you into its cute little world, but warning, there’s no escape once you’re there! Highly recommended.
