SpawnPoint - Where Game Begins

I have some very exciting news. The most exciting news I’ve heard in a long time. The Sims 3 is coming. Now, this is a very big deal for me because I live for the Sims. It is my favourite game. I have plenty of original houses, families, and neighborhoods. When I should be doing my homework, I am playing the Sims. When I should be writing, I am playing the Sims.

We’re still going to have to wait quite a while until this new game is released, since it scheduled for the 2009 fiscal year. In fact, the website isn’t even telling us anything yet. There is a review in the Games for Windows magazine April/May edition. It just states some little bits of information such as the worlds will now be condensed into one seamless world and everything that occurs outside of the home will affect the play of the characters. Sounds neat, but I’m excited to see some clips or screen shots of the new game and check out the graphics.

Now, there is one clip on youtube that states it is a Sims 3 preview, but all that’s there is clips from Sims 2 and then it says Sims 3 coming in 2008.

There’s a few rumours going around out there that have to do with artificial intelligence and the Sims being more socially aware. Does that mean that they won’t kiss others Sims in front of their husbands/wives/partners anymore? Hahaha, too bad.

So for the time being we will just have to play The Sims 2 and enjoy it still until the third version is released sometime next year.
