Saga
In the Saga gameplay mode players have to unite the provinces of England. The decisions that usually control the expansion here will be heavily influenced by the storyline-based, dynamically changing morality of the protagonist and the emotional decisions usually seen in RPGs. By following and determining the unfolding Arthurian mythology, players meet the important plot points in a modular structure where particular events occur in a free timeline.

Conquest
In this open-ended gameplay mode the player chooses from the five crowned heads fighting for Britannia (King Arthur is just one of the available five). The goal is to conquer all provinces, but this time without the restrictions of the storyline. Player can also use diplomacy here.

Scenario
Instant battles against the AI where players can either set up the conditions of the battle as they wish or just play quick skirmishes under random circumstances.

Multiplayer
Two players battle against each other in either a symmetrical or an asymmetrical multiplayer mode. Estimated time for an average session is 20 minutes.
