What Was Promised... Manga Fighter, published by OnNet USA, is a massively multiplayer online third-person shooting game with a twist. Players will join other combatants in a 3D manga-style world, with multiple modes of combat and a variety of character customization options. The game allows for fast and intense combat, but with a fresh look. Was Delivered... MangaFighter is a new revolutionary game, which combines the old style of the free to play MMO with the fresh and exciting world of manga. The toonish world breathes new life into an aging industry, along with the game's new system of skill gain and its collection of unique items. This game is an absolute blast to play, and is a great game. It is a friendly environment, with rich scenery, and new twist to its world. The Skill Card System... The Skill Card System uses collected or bought skill cards to use abilities as your character progresses in the world. Card effects vary from making you an incredibly strong tank, to an invisible foe, making it hard for your enemies to find you. Your ability to uses theses skills is based on your skill gague, which is filled through combat, and the level of the card. There are four levels, Rainbow, Gold, Silver, and Metal. The Characters... There are 6 characters to choose from, ranging from human children, to animals, to aliens! They all have their unique benefits and styles. The Gameplay... There are currently 6 modes of gameplay to choose from. There are 4 types of deathmatch mode to choose from as well as "Keeping The Essence" mode and VIP mode.The Deathmatch modes differ only in scoring, they are the old favorite, "Kill first, ask questions later." Point Mode - The first individual with the "goal" number of points (first to reach the goal number of opponents disabled) wins. Time Mode - Similar to deathmatch "Point Mode", except the match is timed, but has the same winning conditions. Team Point Mode - The first TEAM to reach their point goal, as in the indvidual variant, wins! Team Time Mode - Just as the individual variant, but the first team to reach their goal in the alotted time wins! Keeping The Essence - As you collect the "essence" your team gains points, the team with the most point wins. VIP - Each team has a VIP, who must be protected at all costs. The object is basically to pummel the enemy VIP senseless.
