The original Aliens Versus Predator 2 was a much better game, and you'd be better off going back and playing it again instead.

The story moves back 500 years; before the humans set up the research facility on Planet LV1201, predators frequented the planet to hunt aliens. On a routine hunt, a predator stumbled upon ancient pilot ruins and discovered an artifact of great power but was trapped in a stasis field. Five hundred years later, he is discovered and inadvertently revived by a human who is trying to retrieve the Artifact. The predator trails her back to the human base, but the aliens trail him. As you might imagine, lots of killing ensues.

Aliens Versus Predator 2: Primal Hunt's developers acknowledged the inherent challenge in producing an expansion pack (both continuing a successful game and offering improvements and new challenges) and have included new levels, new multiplayer levels, and all the patches and maps issued by Monolith since the release of Aliens Versus Predator 2. Though several weapons are only usable in multiplayer levels, new weapons are also available in story mode. Perhaps most exciting, however, is the opportunity to answer pressing questions from the Aliens Versus Predator 2 story line
